2nd album「My soulS」のリリースから１年半、コロナ禍における１年の制作期間を経て３rd album「Washi soul」が完成しました。シンプリーレッドのギタリストでもあるロンドン在住 Kenji Suzuki氏のサウンドプロデュースを受け、過去作品とは一線を画した楽曲群をリリース致します。「Rubber soul」からインスピレーションを受けたアルバムタイトル「Washi soul」。「Washi」とは「和紙」のこと。「日本人soulsin-gなりのsoulを表現したい」という意味を込め世界へ発信致します(ジャケットは葛飾北斎の作品)。全世界に聴いて欲しい作品です。

Washi soul
3rd Album by soulsin-g
One and a half years after the release of My soulS, and following a year-long production period during the COVID-19 pandemic, singer-songwriter soulsin-g completed his 3rd album, Washi soul.
The album was sound-produced by Kenji Suzuki (Kenji Jammer), London-based guitarist known for his work with Simply Red, marking a clear departure from soulsin-g’s previous releases. The result is a collection of songs with a distinctly new and refined sonic identity.
Inspired by Rubber Soul, the album title Washi soul combines “Washi” — traditional Japanese paper — with the concept of soul music. It represents soulsin-g’s desire to express his own Japanese interpretation of soul and share it with the world. The album artwork features a piece by Katsushika Hokusai, further emphasizing the fusion of Japanese aesthetics and soulful expression.
This is an album created to be heard worldwide.
